At Marches Conservation, I am an Independent property and building surveyor based near Leominster. I have over 25 years of practical experience and I specialise in historic and listed buildings, but I can help with any property.
I help all of those who have an interest in the repair and conservation of historic buildings. I can also cater for all shapes and size of buildings from cottages to castles.
Repair & conservation
Among the surveying services that I offer, I can help with the repair and conservation of older buildings. These buildings themselves can often need more care and attention when it comes to undertaking building work.
This is especially the case when it comes to listed buildings and those within conservation areas. I will always supply you with impartial advice with your best interest at heart.

Property purchase
If you are buying a house, whether modern or recently converted, a pre-purchase survey is always a good idea. It means that you can know about any issues that the property might have before you buy it, making you aware of problems or legal issues involved.
As well as for newer buildings, I can also carry out surveys for older properties. These often need a full survey so that any issues can be identified. I can also provide detailed advice on the amount of money that would need to be spent on them.

Design and consent
When it comes to planning conservation work or new build adjustments to your home, I can help you with a design that caters to your needs. This design will also be acceptable to the planning, building and conservation control officers.
I offer pre-application advice, which can highlight areas which may be a problem, particularly where the work is in a conservation area or the building is listed.
